Best drip coffee I’ve had in a long time and great drink prices compared to other shops. It has a small indoor area with seating and a free parking lot on the side of the building. I am always greeted by a friendly barista who is helpful and nice.
I've seen Patria Coffee Roasters on a few different Best Coffee Shop in LA lists so when I was on my train ride home from Long Beach, I stopped by Compton to check out this little coffee shop.
There’s a quiet warmth to Patria a humility you feel the second you step in. No flashy signage, no performative minimalism just real hospitality, honest coffee, y un ambiente that feels like home, especially for those of us who grew up around the Latin rhythms of the city. The Latin vibe here isn’t curated it’s lived.
Affordable quality coffee roasted in house with house-made syrups. They offer vegan-friendly drinks and have multiple nondairy milks. This is a coffee shop for the community and it really delivers on that mission.
