Found this hidden gem coffee shop inside the Senior Community Center! At first, I was a bit nervous to enter because I thought it was only for seniors but I found out that it's open to the public. My friend and I tried their seasonal spring special which was beautiful and the flavor and craftsmanship was on point.
I had an incredible experience at paper boy roasting! I ordered a matcha latte made with ceremonial-grade matcha and a touch of maple syrup for natural sweetness—it was absolutely perfect. The matcha had a smooth, earthy flavor, and the balance was just right.
I want to call Paperboy Roasting a hidden gem, but I feel like a hidden Origin Story is more appropriate. I love to visit niche and unique coffee shops around SoCal, and not to be a bummer, but I’m often not super impressed with a lot of them. Paperboy Roasting is another (origin…) story.
Okay, first off… this coffee?? Top tier. If you’re like me and need a really good cup to kick off your day, Paper Boys understood the assignment. You know when your coffee hits just right, and suddenly you’re productive, glowing, and maybe even forgiving people you were mad at? Yeah.
