Panacea CoffeeHouse, Cafe and Roastery

We live about 30 minutes away, and I found this place on Google Maps and wanted to give it a try! We have been here a couple of times so my photos are from different times. The first time we got bagels and some drinks, the second time we got something off of their sandwich menu. The bagels were great.

Panacea CoffeeHouse, Cafe and Roastery in Waynesville, North Carolina has a wonderful menu of homemade comfort foods like peanut butter and bananas for breakfast and warm pimento cheese for lunch. They have unique names for each one which adds to the charm of this warm and inviting 100 year old setting.

Really cool vibe here. We tried the organic Guatemala dark roast and it had a great flavor, along with a really good Cortado. We also tried the “Wakey Wakey” sandwich which is bacon egg and cheddar on sourdough (instead of bagel) also really good.

This is a hidden gem in Waynesville. They roast their coffee on site. They have several different blends. They also have craft sodas. The food menu has many excellent items. Service first class. If you like coffee you won’t be disappointed.
