Some places never really leave you. This café is one of those places for me. I have many warm memories connected with this café. We used to live nearby, and when my kids were little I would often walk here with a stroller, sit down with a cup of coffee, relax, and have a small bite.
You can tell when you walk in that this is a well-established fixture in Palo Alto. The breakfast menu is limited, but the food is made fresh and the ingredients were whole and healthy.
Lovely aroma of fresh baked pastries, coffee and breakfast sandwiches! The chocolate croissant was one of the best I ever tasted. Love the atmosphere. The old San Fransciscan roaster is a gem
Fantastic little Cafe. The food is a bit expensive, but not crazy for being Palo Alto. Ethiopian pourover was great, though, not exceptionally fruity.
