Owens Famous Coffee & Provisions

a few things: -super cute and trendy interior! Great for pictures and definitely applies to a certain niche. -small menu and limited pastries -they roast their own coffee but don’t currently offer a large amount of retail bags in store, i would love to see that offered at some point -a significantly high price point.

I can’t say enough positive things about Bae. The owners are so unbelievably friendly and helpful, and they make damn good coffee. You can tell Devon really loves coffee and playing with flavors, and he sources and roasts his own beans.

I’m a frequent traveler to Chicago and coffee at Bae is always the highlight of my trip. Devon the owner is a (former?) chef and a coffee guru. You can feel it in everything you order. Go for the house-roasted coffee; stay for the baguette with house-made seasonal compote and honey butter.

My favorite coffee spot! The espresso here is so so so good, and reliably made. Their bread and pastries are devine and I'm a bit picky. Great energy and music, more a chatty spot to meetup or talk w the owners (who are very friendly) or place to put in headphones and get lost reading. 🤘🤩
