I got a cortado (50:50 Espresso:Milk). Their baristas are trained and they know what they are doing. They’re not undergrad students, they’re actual baristas (this isn’t Dune). They gave me a perfectly balanced espresso shot with perfectly silky milk.
I come here EVERY. DAY. I always get a pour over, and it always tastes amazing. Something about the roast is 95+% consistent and so is the brew. These guys know what they’re doing, and they can explain what makes it great, which I enjoy.
Passing through after a visit to UCSB and needed a place to do some work for 3 hours. Great vibe, friendly, relaxed atmosphere, lots of space, power outlets and great coffee. They have a cool patio area (also with plugs) and even an arcade! Seems like a mix of locals and visitors.
Great atmosphere. Is bigger than it looks from the front. There is outdoor seating in the back. Avocado toast and cinnamon roll— both winners. We will be back.
