New Bern Coffee Roasters

New Bern Coffee Roasters was a much needed addition to downtown and New Bern in general. I stop in almost everyday with my dog to grab a coffee (and sometime a quick breakfast snack) on my way to my office. The staff, management and owners are all friendly and lovely.

A nice downtown coffee shop with reasonable prices, good coffee, a selection of tea, pastries, and other items. The coffee is fresh roasted in the coffee shop, so it is a little bit noisy, but it makes the coffee taste amazing. They even have Rooibos tea.

Great spot! Unfortunately I missed their kitchen hours (they stop preparing food at 2pm and I showed up around 2:30), but I will be returning soon!! They had a few baked goods still set out, though, so I had a bacon and cheddar biscuit, a dark chocolate caramel scone, and a latte.

If you go here, expect great coffee and great customer service. Be sure to try any of their specials (I am in love with the lemon pound cake latte right now) and they have yummy chocolate covered espresso beans! This is my third time visiting, and have witnessed above and beyond kindness to others each time.
