Mongo's Coffee Roastery & Lounge

Mongos Roastery and Lounge in Syosset, New York is a hidden gem that I stumbled upon recently, and it has quickly become one of my favorite spots. The coffee is absolutely delicious, and the menu items look equally tempting.

This is the short story how is this sign made my day. I am espresso- lovers. As my work involves constant moving, I can’t be in my lovely place every morning and drink my coffee (as I like), as most people. But the interesting thing is that I can constantly compare and evaluate something new.

Mongo’s is a great go-to for espresso enthusiasts on Long Island. The espresso is rich and tasty, and all baristas are very well trained. Baked goods are ok to great. I have not had their sandwiches or other items.

I’m a regular of Mongos – it’s hard to find a café that you can both socialize and work/study at. As long as I’m prepared with noise cancelling headphones for roasting/rush times, I can spend anywhere from one to multiple hours here, ordering several different well-made drinks with housemade, seasonal syrups and good…
