Better lattes than any chain- a little more spendy, but you get what you pay for. They roast their own beans which makes all the difference. Staff is friendly and hosts community nights for book clubs, connections, and crafts.

Great place! Chill, queer-friendly atmosphere. Visited here a couple days ago on a recommendation from a friend and ordered a double shot of espresso, the in house cups are so cute! Good luck with everything (:

Metta Coffee is a true gem in Anoka! The coffee and espresso are delicious, the space is welcoming and inclusive, and the monthly specialty drinks are always super creative. If the weather permits, there’s a magical outdoor patio space in the back.

I am thankful to have a coffee shop and bookstore that creates a welcoming and safe space! My partner and I have been going every weekend for years to play cards, and the baristas never fail to make us feel at home and even know our drinks by heart. I love seeing the impact that Metta Coffee has made on this shop!
