Manzanita Roasting Company and Coffee House

Knowledgeable and super friendly, they understand good coffee and take their time to talk to their guests. Traveling through Poway and came in today to buy some local coffee. The team here took the time to tell me about their roasts, share about their sourcing practices, and their passion for coffee.

I visit San Diego frequently, and every time when I want to enjoy some freshly roasted beans I fail due to espresso bars' business hours (they close in the afternoons). I found this place to be open until 6pm. Even though it was 30 minute drive I took a chance after work. I am glad I did.

I visited the place a few days before the new year and it is my favourite roaster from now onward. Amazing coffee beans. The place has a rustic charm and it is located in the Bernardo Valley in a beautiful winery. Whether it’s the ambiance or the coffee, this place is worth paying the visit.

The highlight should be coffee bean! They have all kind of fresh roasted coffee bean to fit your taste buds, but also surprisingly good breakfast option, very nice lok toast and avocado toast.
