Maine Coast Roast

Best coffee around, great prices, and wonderful service, too! I head over to Maine Coast Roast not just for the coffee, but to say hi to the two owners, Holly and Paul, who roast the beans and bake the pastries right on site. I always feel welcome at MCR, it’s everything a coffee shop should be!

2024 update: still great, no surprise! Pour-over prices are a little high compared to some other spots, but latte prices are comparable. Real spices in the pumpkin spice, and the dark roast is pleasant in a way mass-market ones could never be. Fresh-roasted coffee and quality coffee drinks, what's not to like?

Wonderful place to get a quality cup of coffee! The owner was very friendly and told me a lot of cool facts about how coffee is roasted, its origin, and the different methods of brewing. She also had a big roasting machine on display which was interesting to look at. The coffee is smooth and well made.

The owner here is a delightful person who received professional above-and-beyond training and is very passionate about the art of roasting coffee beans. Their baked goods are also made in-house! Which I was delighted to discover.
