If you need coffee or a quick bite, look no further than Local Joe! Friendly and excellent service! The iced vanilla latte was perfect. The espresso was bold (no detectable nutty notes, if you don’t like that) and balanced perfectly with the milk and syrup.
Large interior but, at least at the time of my visit, the majority of it was taken up by the roaster and various appliances, leaving about 4 seats at the window counter. Outside there were three tables, so snagging a table to hang out and chat is unlikely.
My favorite place for good coffee. This is a must try place!!!! I’ve been to many coffee shops in Honolulu. This is my absolute favorite because, they roast the beans fresh in the shop daily. As soon as you walk up, there’s a wonderful aroma that greets you within the block. The coffee is bold, strong and flavorful.
Nice local coffee shop and roaster. Just ordered some coffee no food but service was fast and friendly, and the smell of coffee is nice. Got the French toast latte, really good.
