Was on my way to another coffee shop in Oceanside when I found Libra Coffee. Spoke with the owner Eric, he was very helpful as his barista happened to step out for a minute. I ordered a pour over while he was roasting a batch of coffee and was more than capable of handling both tasks.
Unbelievable beans. Beneficial cause. I love what Libra has going on. First and foremost, the coffee is roasted well. It tastes great. Bottom line. We've all been drinking coffee for long enough to know what I'm talking about - you can tell when you're having something that's quality.
I heard about Libra through some friends in Encinitas and stopped in to the roaster to check it out. It's a cool experience to hang out and talk about the coffee you're drinking☕. There's way more to know than I ever realized and the owner's story is really interesting.
Great place to taste some high-end, rare coffees at an affordable price. Owner is very friendly and helpful, and willing to chat with people that have questions about the roasting / brewing of coffee! The music is very chill and played on old vintage radios, definitely a place I'd like to visit again soon.
