This is an excellent specialty coffee shop. It is not everyday that you find a place that will take their time to prepare a well made pour over. The Barista was able to highlight all the notes and make a very balanced and delicious cup. My kiddo had a cappuccino and also loved it.
Visited Lamppost Coffee in Downtown Round Rock today. It has a warm vibe, with people working, studying, or meeting up with friends and a great spot to relax on a Saturday afternoon. They offer free WiFi and have both indoor and outdoor seating.
Lamppost has several branches around North Austin including this spot up in Georgetown, located along S. Main Street in the historic downtown area. They have a spacious indoor seating area and a couple outdoor tables as well. Opening hours are 7am to 7pm (weekdays) and 8am to 7pm (weekends).
This was our first visit to this café, and we were thoroughly impressed by the relaxing atmosphere and the courteous, polite staff. They patiently explained the menu options to us, and when informed that I preferred a less sweet chai latte, the barista thoughtfully adjusted the mixture to suit my taste.
