I have lived in Columbia for 3 years and I can definitively say that Lakota is my favorite coffee joint, hands down. I have never had a bad experience there. Whether it is a date, studying, or spending some time embroidering, I love going to Lakota.

My morning brew. Waking to the rise of the sun, strolling from Mizzou to Lakota. Extremely reliable drip. Wide selection of single origin beans. Loads of pastries. And who knows what else. I come for a tall cup of drip and always leave happy. What more could you want?

I love this place! I have been going here since I was a baby. I loved coming in for peanut-butter-and-banana sandwiches and playing the board games out front. I moved away in grade school but it still warms my heart every time I come back to Columbia to make a stop at Lakota. I also bought my favorite mug there.
