I admit. I chose this coffee shop because of the aesthetic (guilty). I just moved back to the area and have driven by but haven’t stopped in until now. Old dormitory building is owned by one person and they did a fantastic job with renovations. Atmosphere is inviting, serene, vibrant and quaint all in one.
Seated just off Riverside in a quaint stone and brick building is Ladder Coffee. A place you want to keep quiet about because it’s a hidden gem. Its eclectic space is well lit, decorated with plants, and offers high quality coffee and food.
