Krankies

Krankies is a very cool space. The shop and roastery have a great atmosphere — industrial, open, and full of character. It feels like the kind of place where serious coffee is happening, and the roasting operation and selection of beans definitely reinforce that impression.

First Visit to Krankies, Winston-Salem Stopped by Krankies for the first time and really enjoyed the experience. The place has a sweet vibe — set in an old tobacco-style warehouse downtown with a cool, relaxed energy that fits Winston-Salem perfectly.

There are a ton of cafes in Winston, but Krankies truly stands out. There’s plenty of seating and the food is great! I didn’t have any coffee because I already had some this morning, but the in house roasting and housemade syrups both signal high quality espresso drinks to me. Service was also kind and prompt.

This is a place to go and get some Breakfast. I cannot believe that I found a hidden gem. The wait is well worth it. The food is amazing. The coffee is spot on. I highly would mix it up at the table and try each others. The espresso muffin is so good. I promise you will not be disappointed.
