Kilates has become the only place I trust in the Bay Area for coffee over the past year—and it all comes down to one thing: their cappuccinos and cortados. Truly, these are the kind of drinks you can’t just order anywhere and expect to love. The temperature, the texture, the balance… it’s perfect every single time.

I was really impressed with the coffee I was served here, as a self-proclaimed “coffee snob.” The two pour overs I got were the best I’ve had in the many places I’ve gone all over Texas—and I really appreciate the choice between the V60 and the Chemex!

I can’t compliment this espresso enough! First of all the Guatemalan and Colombian beans, locally roasted by a 3rd generation roaster, is simply outstanding. The service has been outstanding and the level of drinks served is off the charts!

Easily the best coffee shop/roaster I’ve been to so far. Katia was very kind- she shared her knowledge and experience with us freely as she prepared a pour over. My girlfriend also got a cold brew refresher with lavender and honey. I was impressed with how balanced the flavors were.
