For connoisseurs there's coffee and then there's coffee. Java Pura has a range of beautifully flavored and always freshly brewed coffees that will satisfy and excite any palette. It was clear after getting to meet the folks there that they love the process, they love getting creative, and they love coffee.
Absolutely amazing first experience here! I wasn’t sure what to expect when I pulled up to the back door in a business park, but what I found inside did not disappoint. Their operation inside is impressive, with all of their roasting equipment and beans on full display.
Java Pura is easily one of the best roasters in Houston!! Their coffee is DELICIOUS and they truly care about the quality of their beans. We went to this location (they cannot sell coffee drinks to the public) and Billy, the head roaster gave us a mini tour and mini masterclass on coffee and roasting.
First off... Disclaimer: this is a roaster. Not. A. Coffee. Shop. HOWEVER. Billy was kind enough to brew a fresh cup for me. What a place. Amazing variety of coffees. I can't thank him enough for taking the time to show and explain to me what they have and even give me some tips on my brewing process at home.
