Hands down one of the best coffee shops in the East Village. Ioannis Coffee Chef is the kind of spot you stumble into once and end up coming back every week. The coffee is next-level—you can tell they care about quality beans, proper espresso technique, and actually crafting every drink instead of just serving it.
Best flat white and cold brew in the area. My friends and I were in the East Village on a frigid winter day when we stumbled upon this cozy little coffee shop. We went in thinking we would grab a quick coffee and head out. Instead, we ended up staying for two hours.
The coffee at this place is one of the best I have tried. I had an espresso and it was very smooth and perfect temp. The owner really cares about the quality and what he serves. Glad I found this place.
