Hudson Roastery was BUSY today, but that is no surprise. You know it’s a great roasters when you can watch them roast on a Sunday morning. We ordered a couple of Caramel Apple Butter lattes and they were fantastic. Really nailed the Apple Butter flavor, but did not take away from their coffee.
We brunched at Hudson Roastery twice on our winter getaway weekend to the Valley. In a word: it's a gem! The shop offers everything you want or need: comfy seating, warm environs, genuinely friendly and attentive service, delicious from-scratch foods and beverages, and good prices.
Double espresso for here came to $4.05. Sweeter than what i was expecting, a good thing. Plent of seating and they have a bathroom too. Also alcohol options. That they roast the coffee makes a difference. Various food options. Friendly staff. They're expanding to next door as well so they must be doing well.
I met a gentleman named Tony at Adams in Newburgh who gave me a sample of Catskill Campfire whole beans. Thank you to Tony, those beans were wonderfully and freshly roasted. It brews such a delicious cup of coffee. I’m grateful to have a new favorite local coffee bean. Great job
