So I will say the review or star rating is strictly for their coffee beans. I frequently get their Plush beans, and let me tell you, makes for magical espresso. I dial in on my gen 2 df-64 at 10-11 grind size, and Im pulling amazing shots. They mention berry/cherry notes for this roast and it's definitely present.
Honestly, I’ve never had a coffee that I couldn’t put down. After leaving HBC we went down to a shop where they requested drinks to be left on a reserved counter and I thought nothing of it until all I could think about was leaving so I could drink my coffee!!! Hahahah!!
Pleasantly surprised at the quality and flavor in these coffee beans. I don't even like barrel aged or distilled spirits but the beans benefit from the complexity of the flavors that are added! These people care about great coffee taste and it shows.
Really enjoyable experience! The owners were happy to chat about their product and I really think they're on to something with these beans. If you're looking for a unique and well done barrel aged flavor in your coffee give them a try. I've had coffee all over St Pete and these definitely stand out!
