“Strongly recommend latte or cortado (without any additional flavor like vanilla syrup, it tastes so good and rich)”
What customers say
Highfalutin is some of the best coffee I’ve had in Charleston and certainly the best coffee on James Island. This place is great for espresso based drinks but don’t sleep on the drip coffee. I started with an espresso which was delicious and then got a drip coffee to go. I was shocked by how good the drip was.
I love this coffee shop, they care about their beans a lot. My only wish is that they used local milk, you can’t beat that flavor. If they used local milk it would be my favorite in Charleston, however, even so, I continue to go back. The service is phenomenal and the people who work here are lovely.
My favorite coffee shop in Charleston county. The staff are efficient and friendly. The coffee tastes delicious! It’s always roasted perfectly and displayed with beauty. Parking is plentiful. Treat yourself to a “dandy”. It’s the best coffee drink I’ve ever tasted.
This is a charming gem, where the locals go! Friendly staff, the breakfast sandwich is oh my gosh good! I was told the home made bread comes from a local business. Highfalutin coffee roasters another reason to visit Charleston!!!
