Always love taking the time to catch a bite to eat here. The chef, formerly of Octane's in downtown runs a great eatery! The food is wonderful and I highly recommend either the pulled pork or pot roast. Both cooked 14 hours using a secret method that develops fantastic flavor and tenderness. No dryness what so ever!
We ordered the Ham and Swiss with Chips and the Grilled Chicken Wrap with Broccoli Cheese Soup. The wrap was good, but once I tried a bite of the Ham and Swiss I was having buyers remorse. It was so good it just melted in your mouth, the stuff I would have expected from a sit down, full service restaurant.
I love coming here in the morning to relax. HearthRock Cafe has such a nice atmosphere and the barista is such a sweet lady. I've always felt like I'm greeted and served as if I'm visiting a home. Thank you for the great meal! 10/10 would highly recommend! P.s.
Cozy spot to have a good meal while dreaming about decorating your home! Though they offer take-out as well, which is what we did this time for Rockford's restaurant week. We tried the Cuban and the ribs quesadilla. I loved the smoky flavor of the meat in the 'dilla and would give it a thumbs up.
