I stopped by Harper’s Cafe on a Saturday afternoon during their caffeinated event with KINNECT New Jersey, thinking I’d just grab a coffee and a sandwich on my way to Philly. But I ended up staying almost 30 minutes because the vibes were just that good.
Nice cafe with excellent coffee. They roast their own coffee which has a taste of its own. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. Will definitely visit again if I'm in the area.
Tried Harper’s for the first time. My friend and I are trying to go to as many black owned eateries in NJ and this one was recommended to us. It was SOLID! Love the music selection, and how many beautiful brown people came in and out the door on a chilly Sunday afternoon.
Recently passed through here while visiting my brother. We had two excellent sandwiches - the club and the caprese - and the folks working there were really nice. The atmosphere was calm and relaxed as we caught up over lunch. Would highly recommend for a delicious and healthy small town lunch!
