What's in the cup
“I got the sticky toffee latte which was enjoyable, the espresso didn’t taste strong so it wasn’t anything super special but was a nice hot latte on a cold rainy morning.”
“They have exquisite coffees and many extraction processes to choose from including espresso, drip, pour over, cold brew and Kyoto-style.”
“The decaf espresso is actually so good that I just ordered a bag online for a friend!”
What regulars say again and again
“Probably the best cappuccino and cortado I have had in Philly, and I have probably ordered >100 in the past year.”

“The almond croissants are one of the best I've ever had.”
“The baristas are laid-back, welcoming, and consistently craft excellent drinks.”
“I’ve lived in Philadelphia for around 13 years, and this warm, cozy spot is my favorite cafe since…well, maybe early onset dementia set in, since…forever.”
What customers say
The interior of the cafe may be small, but the quality of the drinks were pretty good. I like the idea of their seasonal drinks (I'm a sucker for a sparkling espresso) but I only drink unsweetened black coffee and their seasonal drinks were sweetened.
I love this place. Probably the best cappuccino and cortado I have had in Philly, and I have probably ordered >100 in the past year. The staff are always so friendly and warm and definite coffee lovers/hobbyists. They have traditional sizing for their espresso drinks. Good technique in crema and milk foam.
★★★★★ Chris and Kristina did an amazing job on New Year’s Day—and I was the first sale of the day. From the moment I walked in, I could feel the atmosphere and the culture you’re building here.
All around perfect neighborhood coffee bar with a micro shop and personalized vibe. The espresso shot was perfection with more complexity and polish than you sometimes find in smaller shops.
