Graft Coffee x DP Cafe

Checked out this coffee spot today to do some work. The owner, Ben, was friendly and made my coffee with care, explaining the flavor profile of the roast I was drinking. He also explained to me that he roasts his own beans, which was pretty cool.

I ordered a Cortado and a natural Ethiopian pour-over, and both were absolutely incredible. The Ethiopian was incredibly bright, jammy, and packed with tropical fruit notes. The Cortado was perfectly balanced and well-made.

I spoke with Thomas and Ben when they were serving coffee at my wife's school event. They were both courteous and fun, all smiles as we talked about coffee together and shared what equipment we each use and our preferred brewing methods.

Graft coffee is inside Dwelling Place Church. There's seating for 22 - more than i expected. They are a specialty coffee shop, and they source and roast their own beans. I ordered an espresso + milk, which is similar to a latte or cappuccino you get at other places. I added a mocha shot - it was very good!
