What's in the cup
“Glissade offers several single-origin options and uses an automated pour-over system, likely chosen for consistency.”
“I'm sensitive to espresso (but love the taste) and their decaf is by far the best I've had that made me feel awake but also had such a clear good coffee taste.”
“Their cold brew was amazing and paired with their bangin breakfast burrito, you’ve got a winning combo.”
What regulars say again and again
“I will say it’s alittle pricy, but it seems like they roast their own coffee so it’s makes sense why it’s on the higher price end.”
“We’re espresso snobs. He took great care of helping to guide us on how to get the most out of each roast.”
“I followed with a pour over.”
“Their cold brew was amazing and paired with their bangin breakfast burrito, you’ve got a winning combo.”
“The cheddar chive scones were so so so good and I wish I lived nearby so I could have those regularly- will be back any time I'm in town !”
What customers say
Simply “wow.” I’d give Glissade 6 stars if possible. The espresso is tasty, the industrial vibe looks cool yet still comfortable for hanging out and relaxing/getting work done, and the service is even better—the owner Sean pulled me a free espresso shot and took the time to tell me about their coffee.
Fantastic local roaster with a great coffee bar! Was looking for new beans and the owner Sean struck up a conversation, explaining their offerings. Very knowledgeable, never condescended, and genuinely excited to talk about his beans. Tried the cold brew, nitro cold brew, and cappuccino.
Friendly staff, excellent espresso and matcha, and a lovely atmosphere. The fireplace made it extra cozy. My girlfriend and I tried their seasonal orange cardamon syrup and it was good — our drinks came with orange peel shavings on top! They did not charge extra for oat milk, which was nice.
When I travel, I spend an unreasonable amount of time searching for good coffee. I read reviews and try to separate places loved by people who care about coffee from mass-market caffeine delivery systems. Anyone who loves coffee knows this frustration.
