What a fantastic find! I’m not typically impressed by coffee shops - this is an exception. Gio is located in the historic State Mercantile building downtown Louisville, and has a variety of coffee from around the world, the majority of which is organic. The Diedrich roaster is impressive to see in action.

Very elegant coffee shop that has amazing coffee roasted in the shop on a daily basis. Outdoor tables offer a spacious setting with umbrellas that give you a place to sit and safely enjoy the coffee and tasty local pastries from Button Rock Bakery. Excellent assortment of gluten free options as well.

Really nice atmosphere with seating and wifi. I got a large iced latte (plain). As far as espresso drinks go, it was about average priced. Overall I thought it was pretty good. Good flavor - the espresso was a bit bitter for my taste, but my girlfriend really liked it.

Dan is passionate about coffee! I loved the Costa Rica Black Honey, beautifully roasted for a complex honey-fragranced nectar. Love seeing the red Dietrich roaster right in the store. Perfect coffee roaster café in downtown Louisville!
