After a quick Google search for a local coffee shop, we made our way to Fat Cup Coffee. The excellent reviews are correct, this place has amazing coffee. They roast their own beans so you know it is fresh. Espresso made the way it is supposed to be made.
I discovered this when we lived in the CFW area and was really sad when me moved out of state. I was blown away when I saw it could be shipped to me and promptly started ordering our favorite roasts to our new state.
I drink a lot of coffee and I can honestly say that this is probably my favorite cup. I can get it at fareway and if I'm in the area I try and stop in any chance I get. Forget about the burned, bitter beans that you get from the big corporate coffee companies. They don't even come close to the flavor and smoothness.
My favorite coffee place in Waterloo Cedar falls, even the entire Midwest. I’ve had coffee in bigger cities that doesn’t even compare to Fat Cup. I’ve never had a bad cup of coffee there, highly recommend. Be sure to grab a bag of coffee beans when you’re there too.
