What's in the cup
“They make the best espresso, cappuccinos and lattes around, though half the time I still just order black coffee because that's solid, too.”
What regulars say again and again
“They roast their own beans, so they are fresh and tasty!”

“Great place to get coffee and breakfast baked goods in Redwood City - the baked goods are fresh and tasty and they have a great selection of coffee drinks to pick from.”
“The atmosphere is very cozy, easy going, there is outside sitting, some banana bread and bagels, but the coffee is the best!”
What customers say
Ok coffee. Best in local area. Decent service. Fun espresso machine tables. WiFi.
This is one hidden gem up in the hills. Who would have thought that you could get such great coffee so far out. Very impressive roasts and flavors. One of my favorite secret cafe.
Great little local roaster in the middle of the burbs, nice pastries and coffee from beans roasted on premise.
If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! I first discovered Emerald Hills at their pop-up stand at the College of San Mateo farmer's market, where a friend clued me in to their excellent coffee and, to my surprise, some of the best quesabirria I've ever had.
