East Coffee

I've only been there once since the new ownership. I had an ice lavender spiced chai. It was so good because they use powdered Chai and because I said I don't like it super sweet they made it perfect for me. I'll need to go back and try their espresso.

I come here weekly since I work nearby and I take the bus, so I need somewhere to sit for an hour to pass the time. I have been twice. Similar to other reviews, the customer service the first time was ok. Not great. However the second time the service was great and drinks came out fast. Also, the place was pretty busy. Overall, great spot for us as locals. Will be back. Yes, I would agree the place is understaffed.

This place can so easily be anyone's new hangout spot. The decor is humble and serene. The coffee is delicious, simple and easy menu, and the best part is the space to sit and chat. It's as if the owners wanted nothing more than to create a space for people to get together and actually catch up.
