Where to find East Coast Roast Coffee
What's in the cup
“Rich knows his craft and it shows, coffee is roasted fresh on site and is single origin and not cut with cheap filler beans.”
“I went to East Coast Roast at the end of 2024 (Dec 30th) and picked up some Moorse Code espresso along with a wonderful conversation with Richard about the roasting process.”
“I purchased two types of coffee, one for espresso ("MOORSE CODE ESPRESSO") and one for pour overs and french press ("COSTA RICA - TARRAZU").”
What regulars say again and again
“The espresso was phenomenal. Richard was so knowledgeable and great to talk to, we learned so much and couldn’t wait to try the coffee.”

What customers say
Best beans in town! If you want high quality coffee, get your beans here. Richard is so obsessed with the quality of his product, it’ll be impossible for you to go back to getting coffee anywhere else. I have my favorites—Ethiopia, PNG, Costa Rica, but every other type I have tried is superb.
Columbian is a good everyday pour over. Moorse Code is an excellent, smooth, full bodied espresso. One of the best I've tried. I've darn near lost my mind pulling espresso shots from the Brazilian single origin. Absolutely delicious both pour over and especially espresso. The crema is thick and rich.
Not your regular coffee beans from store. I used to order online medium, dark roast. After making few espresso and cappuccino from ECRC my wife and I will never come back to regular store coffee bags. Mild aroma of the arabica with long lasting oils and distinct flavors will get you hooked.
I have been looking for a local roaster since starting on my coffee journey and today I visited East Coast Roast in nearby Island Park. Richard is amazing. He gave me a tour of the facility and an education as well. Such a friendly guy!.
