I moved to Aiken a couple of weeks ago. In my first weekend, I went to the Farmer’s Market. I’m not one for changing up my coffee (I’m an at home brewer and rarely buy coffee out), but was intrigued by the thought of money helping horses and the coffee that was described to me.
This is a roastery, but he does serve coffee as well. Freddie is a wealth of knowledge on coffee. Tasting profiles, roasting requirements, grind size -- all the important stuff! 😉 I learned a lot.
Wow I just bought the best coffee I have ever tasted! The quality of coffee was by far the best I’ve had. After talking with the owner Freddie I found out that the reason is because of the roasting, brewing, and grade of the bean. His process is meticulously controlled and designed for taste and pleasure! Great work!
What a lovely coffee spot! The owners roasts it himself locally, and is so passionate about coffee. Their mission is to help fund some of the equine rescue organizations in South Carolina. The best cold brew I’ve had in a long time, especially on a hot day. Even the espresso was on point.
