Dorothea coffee is a quaint little coffee shop that I'm certain will surprise you. They keep it simple - no espresso, no lattes, no gimmicks. Just good coffee, made with love. The baristas were friendly and told us how they roast their beans in house with the very cool and prominent roaster behind the bar.
A great place to get your stock of specialty coffee! I was trying to find coffee roasters in the Pacific Northwest, and found their Google listing. Made the drive up from Seattle to Mount Vernon and it was worth it. Conor, the owner, is extremely friendly and glad to walk you through all the coffees.
We were walking to another shop when the smell of roasted coffee drew us into Dorothea coffee. We had a cup of wonderful pour over coffee and a great conversation! We'll definitely be back!
