Daysol Coffee Lab

I am so happy I found this place and that I live so close to it! I can only drink decaf.. (yes I know you probably think decaf is not real coffee but it is for me!) and I’m always looking for good and fresh decaf beans and these are sooo soo good 😍.

The coffee is awesome, I stopped by and grabbed a bag of beans, the woman explained the difference between the options. I am using a Baratza Encore ESP and a Moccamaster (haven’t tried it in any of my other brewers) and it has such a smooth taste, I am impressed.

The coffee is great! The "standard" blend, Wanderlust, is an excellent base for lattes, cappuccinos, and cortados. I order at least one bag each month. The flavor is wonderful and it delivers a great taste over a range of extractions. The cafe is very pleasant with a very friendly staff.

I’ve had the good pleasure of getting to know Bert over the last year. He has a well run organization that produces exceptionally good coffee. Roasted locally in Birmingham it’s as fresh as you can get and very thoughtfully crafted. Do yourself a favor and order Daysol’s beans.
