This is a great, peaceful coffee shop. Easily accessible on a frontage road, I was surprised that this Cups location doesn’t stay packed. Most of the people who come in are professional/graduate students or young professionals looking for a quiet place to work, so the noise level stays low.
I stopped by this bar in Jackson and it turned out to be such a pleasant surprise. I ordered a coffee and a slice of banana cake—both were excellent. The coffee was rich and comforting, and the banana cake was soft, moist, and full of flavor, the kind you remember long after.
Awesome local coffee shops, worthy of your patronage. Cozy stores, or small chains, like this are common in the Pacific Northwest, but I haven't seen many like it in the South. The staff is knowledgeable and if you tell them what tastes you like or how much caffeine you like, they will steer you to the perfect cup.
We happened across this little coffee/tea shop while we were in town for a baseball tournament. Very neat little building and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The barista was very welcoming and polite with my highly curious daughter and very patiently answered all of her questions.
