A great little place at the bottom of an office building to get a decent baked bite and cup of coffee. The only small downside which is largely based on personal preference is the lack of robust coffee flavor which my companion and I suspect and assume is due to using a light roast.
This is definitely one of our favorite spots in St Louis. The pastries are deliciously fresh, specially the croissants (all of them are great!). They make small batches and the quality is always top-notch. The coffee is great. We tried many different options and they were always perfectly prepared.
Comet coffee was always on my list to try! And it didn’t disappoint. I had one of their specials, rainbow espresso latte which was GREAT! Staff were amazing. And I loved the atmosphere, good place to read and work!
I stopped in this morning for the first time to get one of their amazing Bear Claws and took try their espresso. I was pleasantly surprised by the level of care and quality in their food and service. Even though the place was busy, I never felt rushed or hurried.
