Coffee Hound Uptown Normal

First time visiting this location. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of seating. Popular spot and had a constant flow of people, but service was steady with the flow. The staff was very friendly, Claire took the time to describe almost every bakery item to me.

As a coffee snob with fifteen+ years in the industry, the best place I’ve found since moving here is Coffee Hound. I ate a savory scones with my coffee. Good coffee. Scone might have been better with a touch of honey or orange to contrast the savory flavor. Looked like a large biscuit. LGBT friendly decor. Positive atmosphere. Walk up to counter and order. Tables outside may belong to Jimmy John's.

I am always greeted with a smile and the latte’s are amazing— the texture of the milk is perfect, it’s not too sweet (I get white mocha), and it’s the perfect temperature coming out so it doesn’t burn my tongue :) Audrey is great as well as all the other baristas!
