What customers say
Great people and great coffee! Don’t sleep on the local pastries as well. Awesome local spot to stop in for a quick cup, or stay and enjoy a pour over. There’s no WiFi, but completely by design to encourage a space for conversation and community. Highly recommend.
Would it be enough to tell you that this is my favorite espresso in all of Tacoma? No? Go taste for yourself! Come back and tell me I'm wrong! From bean, to roast, to pull, to cup is quality and care at every step. The space is welcoming and well appointed. The coffee got on the wall is fantastic.
My husband and I have been getting beans from Civic Roasters since before they opened their brick-and-mortar shop! Now we continue to come by almost every weekend; sometimes to sit and hang out, other times for a quick grab and go, and we still always get beans when we need a restock.
Such a cute coffee shop that feels so intentional in its choices, from who they employ and invite for pop ups to how they source and roast their coffee. Perfect for social justice oriented folks who want to spend with intention and support local small businesses trying to make a difference. Shout out to their mochas!
