City On A Hill Coffee & Roastery

The coffee is outstanding—rich, flavorful, and expertly brewed. You can really taste the care they put into every roast and pour. The staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about coffee, making the experience even more enjoyable.

I really like coffee shops like City On A Hill, from the moment you open the door you feel a warm inviting sensation, it’s always nice to see a group of veterans that have probably been meeting together since before I was born for morning coffee and fellowship. The barista that took my order was kind and helpful!

Nice little coffee shop I stopped by while passing through Cañon City today. Espresso roast tastes alright in an Americano, around medium-light roasted. I think espresso dialing in needs some work, as the shot tasted pulled fast (weak), and I think some of the roundness of the shot got lost.

City On A Hill is the only doughnut shop in Cañon City, and it does not disappoint! If you miss/remember Rollers doughnuts, they are using Roller’s recipes and making some of their own new treats. The doughnuts are some of the best I’ve ever had! Especially the maple-glazed Apple fritter. Wow.
