My sister and I went one summer after church… we got this matcha lemonade with perilla leaf and it was soooo good and refreshing! I think the other drinks we tried were good too but we didn’t think it was something to rave about.. but the perilla lemonade… YUM! Also tried the sesame seed brownie and it was okay.
I didn’t try the pour over but they do have them! I used chat gpt to find a pour over spot and went to a different coffee shop that didn’t end up having it. This location does tho! Visited here while I was staying in the area. Ordered the Wren and it has to be one of the best espresso drinks I have ever had. Texturally perfect, and the flavors were well-balanced. Roasted, nutty, chocolatey flavor with pops of smoked salt and just a hint of sweetness.
Bird Branch is a fantastic spot for a delicious sandwich and a cup of expertly roasted coffee. The staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is cozy—small, but full of charm. The egg sandwich is a standout choice, as is the avocado toast. The black coffee is some of the best I’ve had in New York.
