This was my first time here and it was such a WONDERFUL experience! This coffee shop roasts their own beans which is really special. I had their cold brew and it was DELICIOUS. I bought a bag of roasted beans and they smell absolutely amazing. The owner, Kim, is so lovely and helpful.
When I travel out of town, I make it a point to visit local coffee shops. We scoped out a place to work for a few hours over spring break and ended up at Birchin Lane in part because we saw that they roasted their own beans, which shows a level of competency and interest in coffee.
This is one of the best coffee shops I've ever been to. We visited the area on vacation and tried out a number of local coffee shops; this was by far the best. The perfect blend of unique flavors (raspberry cheesecake latte!) while still maintaining a great coffee taste. The food was amazing as well.
Great alternative coffee shop to Starbucks and Dunkin. Cool place to try something new. Staff was friendly and welcoming and the coffee drinks were great. They even roast their own beans on site and have them available for purchase.
