This is a popular place and it’s no wonder! I have been buy their medium roast house blend coffee by the pound for years. It robust, smooth and delicious. I make my coffee in a percolator and it’s the best. Everything I’ve tried from their baked goods sandwiches has been very good.
There are several excellent coffee shops in Alameda, and the Beanery is certainly high up on the list! Their espresso drinks are great and consistent, food & pastry selections are varied, and the staff are some of the most sincere folks around.
One of the best coffe places in Alameda. The coffee is roasted on the premises. Also features a very good selection of pastries and made on the premises sandwiches. Try the Mediterranean sampler featuring house made hummus. Big enough to share.
