Cannot say enough good things about BD Provisions in Newtown, this is a place that I will be certainly revisiting again soon! The owners and staff are so friendly and helpful. This bulk store has coffee roasting, fresh nut butters, local honey, vinegars, bulk baking (including GF) and so much more!
Great place to shop for dry goods, unique items for gifts. I love this store...get all of my coffee beans ground perfectly. I go through coffee quickly so no concerns about freshness for me. They serve hot coffee too. I purchase bulk raw nuts - salt free. Everything is clearly marked, too.
For the past 5 years, whenever I had to buy something in bulk for baking or cooking, I had this place to rely on. They make gift baskets, have soaps, honey, maple syrup, and if you have dogs, dog biscuits. If you like to have fresh organic coffee beans that are ethically sourced, this is the place.
Came in for the Coffee Cupping class for my sister’s birthday and had such a phenomenal time! We got to learn about the difference between light and dark roasts, caffeine levels, and the process of roasting beans and the regions they come from.
