I have ordered freshly roasted beans from Barismo to brew at home and loved them, and their website tutorials introduced me to the wonders of the nel drip pourover, so I had to swing in to the cafe while I was in the area.
Solid little neighborhood cafe in Mid-Cambridge. Dropped by a couple times after work, and both times, the vibe was super chill. It’s located in a quiet residential pocket, so you won’t see many students cramming for finals. Instead, it’s mostly locals reading, chatting, or just enjoying the calm vibes.
I liked this place. Espresso shot was pretty good. I would have liked some sparking water or seltzer water to help clean my pallet but major respect for the pour over. Absolutely delicious. Come here to drink a pour over.
I think this is more like a self service kinda cafe. The coffee is really nice, I order the pour over and it was very good. The AC is nice with the heat outside. Very quiet and peaceful place.
