There are many sugary drink shops in El Segundo masquerading as coffee places. If you order a cup of black coffee at those places it will taste bitter and gross. Bar Nine on the other hand has actually good coffee with good beans, plenty of free parking, and it's peaceful there.
I have been drinking bar nine since there locations in marina and culver. Services are great,coffee is amazing. I drive out to el segundo now to grab a bottle of espresso. Bar Nine was the first coffee I’ve ever prepared at home.
