Aspen Street Coffee

This place knows how to roast! I prefer my coffee fully cooked dark roast. Most roasters over-cook and burn the beans with a charcoal bitterness. Like barely over-cooking popcorn, just a little over-cooked ruins the batch. Aspen Street's dark roast is fully cooked to strong perfection without the charcoal bitter.

After a stunning drive along the rim of the canyon in Colorado national monument grab coffee and fresh baked coffee cake, lemon bar, banana bread, breakfast sandwich or burrito. Iced matcha latte was perfect. And the local honey is outstanding.

In the morning I was looking for a coffee place along with a quick bite. I searched near me and decided to have coffee from Aspen Street Coffee. Aspen Street Coffee is an amazing coffee shop with very nice and friendly people.

Overall: Aspen is a great choice if you are looking for a leisurely coffee stop in town. The good: Great ambiance, outdoor seating, free WiFi, and most importantly, great coffee. The staff is friendly and the food is good (not mind-blowing). It's a simple place with a simple menu, and sometimes that's okay.
