Two employees working. One was knowledgeable but snobby. Expected at a coffee shop. The other was not knowledgeable and couldn’t care less. Made a pour over but didn’t even know the recipe. Got it wrong and had to be corrected by the snobby barista. Overall pour over was okay. Espresso was not good.
Update April 3, 2026. Moving back to 4 stars as 2 recent visits yielded unremarkable Americanos and cappuccinos. Update of Nov 11, 2025. Moving to 5 stars based on visit today and another last week. 2 exceptional Americanos and cortados served in continued clean space with highly professional service.
Artis has really blossomed under its new ownership over the past couple of years. They’ve done a fantastic job of transforming the café into a true community hub. It’s a wonderful spot to grab a coffee, hang out, and enjoy the welcoming atmosphere. The baristas are consistently warm and friendly, and the coffee?
Seems like a nice space inside, but due to the corona it is obviously closed. For the time being, they’re taking orders at the front door. Super strong cold brew, and a great selection of pour over.
