Alpen Sierra Coffee Roasting Co.

I am fortunate to live near this coffee roaster. I first had their coffee in a cafe in Lone Pine. I really enjoyed it. Once I realized that I was living near them, I splurged on an espresso machine, and have lived in coffee bliss ever since.

I tried their coffee a few years ago when vacationing in Tahoe and brought some beans to take home. When I saw they also sold rare microlots online, I ordered some and it’s become a favorite in my household!

Discovered this coffee while in Lake Tahoe. Got a cup of the Peru Norte at Heavens Little Cafe and me and everyone else I was with absolutely loved it! We went to the cafe every morning just for this coffee! It is honestly some of the best coffee I’ve ever had.

They rock. First exposed to them while vacationing in Tahoe. They had a shop. Ordered a cappucino and tasted it right before getting back in the car. Walked straight back in and asked, "Why is this drink so good?" Have not ordered coffee from anyone else in over 20 years.
